Loxarel - Eos Syrah - 2021

• Loxarel - Eos Syrah - 2021

Loxarel’s EOS Syrah is an expressive red wine from the Penedès region that reflects the combination of sustainable viticulture, tradition and modern standards of quality. The biodynamic winery relies on natural cycles and gentle processing to authentically convey the character of the vineyards in the glass. The Syrah grape lends this wine intense aromas of dark berries, ripe plums, black pepper and Mediterranean spices. Ageing in wooden barrels gives it additional depth, subtle toasted notes and an elegant structure. In the glass, it displays a deep ruby red colour with violet highlights; on the palate, it is full-bodied, velvety and harmonious, with well-integrated tannins and a long finish. Served at a temperature of 16–18 °C, the EOS Syrah reveals its full potential and is the perfect accompaniment to grilled meat, game dishes, hearty stews or mature cheeses – a wine full of character bearing the unmistakable signature of the Penedès.
