Cautiu Cava Brut Rosé

Cautiu Cava Brut Rosé brings the Mediterranean spirit and the sparkling wine tradition of Catalonia elegantly into the glass. Its delicate, bright rosé colour and fine, persistent bubbles create an appealing first impression. On the nose, fresh aromas of strawberries and raspberries reveal an inviting and distinctly fruity character.

On the palate, this dry Cava is lively, balanced and refreshing. Fine, persistent bubbles combine beautifully with intense red-fruit flavours and a pleasant freshness, leading to an elegant, fruit-driven finish. Its versatility makes it equally enjoyable as an aperitif or alongside a wide range of dishes.

The use of Trepat gives this rosé its distinctive character. This traditional Catalan grape variety is known for contributing fresh fruit, finesse and an elegant style. Cautiu is produced using the traditional method, with the second fermentation taking place in the bottle. It then spends 14 months maturing in the bottle, allowing its fine bubbles and balanced structure to develop. There is no barrel ageing; the character comes from traditional bottle fermentation and maturation.

Its regional identity is closely linked to Catalonia in northeastern Spain, one of the country's great homes of Cava production. The Penedès in particular is regarded as the heartland of Catalan Cava culture. The combination of regional heritage and traditional bottle fermentation gives Cautiu an authentic expression of Spanish sparkling wine craftsmanship.

Cautiu is part of the Vinos Para Ti range, a specialist selection focused on hand-picked Spanish wines and distinctive discoveries from different wine-growing regions of Spain. Their focus on carefully selected wines gives the range a particularly individual character.

Serve Cautiu Cava Brut Rosé well chilled at around 4–6 °C. It is an excellent aperitif and pairs beautifully with light summer dishes, salads and seafood. It also works wonderfully with tapas, sushi or berry-based desserts, where its fresh fruit character comes into its own.
