Bodegas Fernandez de Arcaya - Viña Perguita - Tinto Roble - 2022

With Bodegas Fernandez de Arcaya - Viña Perguita - Tinto Roble you will enjoy a cherry-red opulent and at the same time elegant wine, which harmoniously combines tradition and modernity An exciting cuvée wine from the grape varieties Tempranillo (85%), Cabernet Sauvignon (10%) and Merlot (5%) with 4-month barrique ageing in wooden barrels made of French and American oak. It has aromas of aniseed and ripe cherries. Balanced in the mouth, with well-integrated, rather soft tannins. Complex, nuanced and intense. It is long and powerful, but delicate at the end with a pleasant fruity note.

Serving suggestions: This wine goes perfectly with meat dishes (such as albondigas) and also as an accompaniment to tapas variations.

Recommended serving temperature: 16-18 ºC

Bodegas Fernández de Arcaya is deeply rooted in the tradition of a family whose name has always been closely linked to wine-growing.

The brands "Alate", "Viña Perguita" and "Fernández de Arcaya" are in a way the flagship of the winery.

The winery's ultra-modern facilities are located on a 4-hectare site in Los Arcos (on the famous Camino de Santiago, the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela). Since 1990, the wine from the winery's own vineyards, whose old vines had been replaced by new ones from 1983, has been processed here.

From the beginning, the aim of the bodega was to produce high-quality red wines (Crianza and Reserva wines), but without neglecting the production of young Rosés. This is also more than understandable given the fact that the Fernández de Arcaya family regards their 'business' almost transfigured as a passion, the result of their devotion to wine, the world and the culture of wine.
