Ochoa Gran Reserva is a benchmark for the winery and its family. This wine is one of the best of the best at Bodega Ochoa. It is only made in particularly good vintages and the quantity can vary.

It is a very elegant red wine, round, with very rich tannins and the time in barrel and bottle, matured necessary to be a Gran Reserva.

It is made from Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes from the El Secadero, La Milla and Montijo vineyards. Of the eight years it ages in the cellar, the first two years are in 225-litre American and French oak barrels and the rest in bottle until it is time to consume it. As a new harvest is released, this has the potential for at least 10 more years.

Perfect wine with grilled meats, pork, veal, stews as well as aged cheeses.
