This Crianza red wine from Bodega Fuentenarro was aged for 12 months in barrique barrels (American & French oak). The juicy Tempranillo grapes come from vines that are around 40 years old.
The wine has a cherry red colour with a dark violet rim and a fine tear. The nose has hints of black and very ripe red fruit (blackberries with hints of vanilla, liquorice and leather). The transition into the mouth is persistent, with noticeable, well-integrated tannins. A very harmonious and balanced wine, full-bodied and fleshy with fruity and balsamic notes on the finish.

Serving suggestions: This wine goes well with red meat, roast or grilled lamb or pork and all types of game as well as meat stews and poultry. Serve with air-dried sausage or ham and cheese, especially sheep's cheese.
