Tampesta - Albarin Blanco - 2024

• Tampesta - Albarin Blanco - 2024

Dry & fruity. Tampesta produces a fresh, fine white wine with green fruit flavours from the autochthonous Albarin grape variety. A lovely accompaniment to seafood. The bodega is located near León at an altitude of 700 to 800 metres, with a subsoil consisting of clay mixed with many pebbles. There are large temperature differences between day and night, which means that we have grapes with a very thick skin, high acidity and a concentrated interior, i.e. lots of extract. This is not only a combination for making exciting red wines, but also exceptional blancos. The fact that the wine was then also stored briefly on fine lees (sobre lias) to tame the acidity rounds off the whole package.
