Vinícola Real - 200 Monges - Reserva 2011

With Bodegas Vinícola Real - 200 Monges - Reserva you will enjoy a very special single vineyard wine with old vines of the Tempranillo (85%), Graciano (10%) and Garnacha (5%) varieties. The grapes for this special wine are harvested by hand in 15 kg boxes from a 7 hectare vineyard with an average age of over 45 years.

Maturation takes place for at least 20 months in new French and American oak barrels. The wine then rests on the bottle rack for at least 16 months.

The red wine has good ageing potential.

A wine with great depth, persistence and elegance. Colour of dense garnet. Deep, lively aroma of black berries with moderate wood spice. Clear and juicy, with fine tannin and nice acidity, persistent on the palate, powerful, with fruit-driven length.

It is advisable to uncork and decant the wine one hour before serving to enjoy its full aroma.

Recommended drinking temperature: 17-18 ºC.
