Sweet, but with a perfect balance of acidity, is the result of an arduous process in which the grapes hang on the vines during the winter and their juice concentrates. When the harvest is advanced and the winter comes to an end, the grapes are pressed and a very sweet must is obtained which, after a partial fermentation in the cellar, gives rise to a unique and singular wine, with a characteristic flavour and aroma that comes from the past.

A unique wine, the first drip wine in the history of the DOC Rioja. Looking back to the past and incorporating the flavours and aromas with the original artisan skills and preserving the culture of the villages has no monetary value. This wine from the winegrowers, kept for their own consumption and celebrations, is an absolute rarity. 

In the past, when a winemaker had a daughter, a Supurao sweet wine was made in Rioja and drunk at the daughter's wedding. The Bodega Ojuel is characterised by the knowledge of this and the fact that hardly anyone does the work anymore, as well as the effort and special love of history and tradition involved.
