The Bodegas Monje - Hollera Tinto is an intense, pure red wine with a blend of aromas of red fruits, ash, anise... full of flavour and delicious aftertaste. The ageing "maceración carbónica" provides a fine tingling sensation on the tongue. 

 

Made from 100% Listán Negro grapes from vines planted in a stony but very rich soil, the result of the volcano and the passage of time.

 

Bodegas Monje is located in an exceptional enclave on the island of Tenerife, in a place called "La Hollera" in the municipality of El Sauzal, overlooking Mount Teide. A long tradition of winemaking has accompanied the Monje family since 1750.

 

An excellent wine to accompany exotic fruits, pizza, pasta, sausage and cheese, which is best enjoyed at a drinking temperature between 14 - 17 degrees.
