The Mil Historias Malbec comes from one of the highest vineyards in Spain at an altitude of 1100 metres, in the remote Manchuela vineyard. It has intense aromas of mulberries, blueberries and hints of dark chocolate, violets, leather and spices.

The flavours are equally intense: black fruits and dark cherries together with notes of dark chocolate, espresso, liquorice and black pepper. This is a complex, full-bodied red wine with a beautiful, full, spicy and long finish. It is structured with ripe tannins and an excellent fruit balance. This organic Malbec is a real contender for the Malbecs from Argentina and France.

Mil Historias Malbec literally means ‘a thousand stories’. These wines from Bodegas Altolandon, one of the highest vineyards in Spain, are made from single grape varieties; all are organic with minimal intervention and utilise biodynamic practices.
