Pimientos del Piquillo is a deep red pepper variety that is only approx. 8-10cm in size. Before their unmistakable flavour can unfold, the fruits are roasted and peeled by hand on a wood grill. The fine, sweet and spicy aroma of the roasted Pimientos del Piquillo together with the smoky note of the wood fire makes them a real taste experience. Pimientos del Piquillo are suitable for preparing tapas, for stuffing, as a side dish cold or heated in the pan in a little olive oil. We recommend fresh cheese, fish or mushrooms as fillings.
