This particularly high-quality Spanish heather honey has a dark amber colour and a sweet aroma with fine, pleasant bitter notes.

The honey comes from the producer Val de Xálima, whose honey comes from hives in the small region of Sierra de Gata, which is located in the northwest of Cáceres. The mountainous landscape there is characterised by holm oaks, oaks and heather. The mild temperatures in winter and summer and the particularly clean region provide a perfect basis for lush vegetation and the ideal habitat for bees.
