Bodegas Rey Fernando de Castilla

Bodegas Rey Fernando de Castilla is named after king Fernando III of Castilla, St. Fernando.

He conquered large parts of western Andalucia and discovered the exceptional properties of the soil and climate in this region, ideal for viticulture. The Fernando de Castilla winery was started by the Andrada-Vanderwilde family who has been important landowners and wine growers in Sherry district for the past 200 years.
